Now is a great time start thinking about the WHA's 56th annual conference this October in St. Paul, MN.
A great place to start is to check to make sure your mailing address and membership are up to date. Conference Programs will be mailed on July 1.

The Graduate Student Caucus is working hard to bring you useful and engaging sessions at this years conference. Efforts are currently underway to organize  a panel on navigating the job market at this year's meeting  and to bring back the popular Lightening Round session to present your doctoral research.
Full conference details will be available in June, including an updated student travel forum on the WHA website designed to help students network and share conference expenses like rooming and transportation.

The WHA is also looking for volunteers to help at the 2016 conference.  The tasks are simple, rooming and conference registration is provided and above all, it is a great way to network and engage with some of Western History's top scholars. Volunteer information can be found in the conference section of the WHA website.
