COALITION FOR WESTERN WOMEN'S HISTORY 

The Coalition for Western Women's History (CWWH) advances the scholarship on women, gender(s), and sexuality in the North American West. Established in 1983, the thriving organization gives numerous honors each year during the CWWH's annual breakfast at the WHA Conference. At the annual Awards Ceremony, the WHA recognizes the recipient of the Armitage-Jameson Award for the Best Book on the history of Women, Gender(s), and Sexuality in the North American West.

INDIAN SCHOLAR'S LUNCH AND AWARD

The WHA recognizes the recipients of honors from affiliated groups and organizations at its annual awards program. Each year at the WHA's annual "Indian Scholar's Lunch" an individual in honored with the American Indian Lifetime Achievement Award. It recognizes superb scholarship and one's dedication for mentoring Native American and Indigenous students to advance the study of American Indian history. It exemplifies their superb scholarship and dedication for “helping Native American students and advancing the study of American Indian History.” The award winners have been chosen from a nomination and voting process by the committee consisting of previous award winners.
